Organize your Stay

Organize your Stay

Pavia is probably the best organized Italian town from the standpoint of university student hospitality. Most of the students are housed in the many Residence Halls close to the campuses, offering the privilege of living in modern facilities equipped with every comfort but also in an environment rich in history and culture. Female-only and male-only Halls are also available (information on Residence Halls is available in Italian; web sites of the individual Residence Halls have pages in English).

Access to Residence Halls is managed by the Regional Agency for the University Student Rights, or EDISU. EDISU offers many opportunities for students to enjoy the university experience through benefits granted by public competition. The benefits are granted to deserving university students who find themselves in financial need but also to the majority of students. They include scholarships, access to the residence halls, grants for international mobility programs, interventions for students with disabilities. The notice is generally published in June every year and expires in September. The Guide for foreign applicants to EDiSU benefits is now available.

A special office has been set up to help foreign students organize their stay. The service is established under the supervision of the International department and is designed to help teachers and students from abroad. In case you need any help or assistance please contact:
